What Does It Mean to Be a Youth?

I am fourteen 
And I'm confused.
I'm growing up 
And life is becoming reality.

In time I will learn.
School is stressful. 
And life is becoming reality.

My heart is beginning to feel. 
Feelings are overwhelming. 
And life is becoming reality

I am fourteen Why is life so harsh?
I no longer feel secure And life is becoming reality.

I am fourteen
I am responsible for myself 
My parents can no longer make my 
problems disappear 
And life is becoming reality.
